Ever since Glassdoor started publicizing the identities of reviewers, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving Neo Financial a review after leaving my role as Intermediate Software Developer. What better place to leave my thoughts on my SEO-friendly, indexable, anonymous blog!

You’ll have a lot of fun; far beyond other fintechs like TD or RBC. When you walk in the office, you can clear up your inbox of PR reviews, automatically prioritized with labels that the developer experience (DX) team cooked up.
Sometime later you'll have a standup, an agile/scrum ritual to make sure everyone's on the same page. This will usually be the only meeting in your 9-5. Most of the week you'll eat lunch in person. This will repeat every day, except for work-from-home Wednesdays and one of your 15 days off. Surprisingly, there isn't a lot of toil! You'll still be expected to respond to on-call incidents and manage incoming alerts for your domain.
The base salary is competitive with the market. Most of it is stock, as expected, and vests after 1 year; no surprises here. Overall, it's what you'd expect from a good company. Your manager will have your back, your seniors will inadvertently become important mentors, and you'll be able to drink all the Dr Peppers by swiping your Neo credit card.
